Friday, April 8

Dunk & Decorate, Princesses and Pirates
Runs from 5 to 8 p.m. with time slots every half hour at La Dona Donuts, 4567 Bee Ridge Road. This evening will include three Mini La Dona Donuts ready to decorate with toppings provided and complimentary punch for each dunker. Sign-up is limited to those participating in decorating and dunking. Parents/guardians are welcome to help without purchasing a ticket. There will be a costume contest as well. Just Desserts
Runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at Payne Park Auditorium, 2100 E. Laurel St. Dine on dozens of desserts and wine selections to benefit Family Promise of Sarasota. Monday, April 11
St. Martha Catholic School Meet & Greet
Runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic School, 4380 Fruitville Road. New and prospective families are invited to tour the campus for students preparing to enter preschool for the 2016-17 school year. Parents will have the opportunity to visit classrooms and meet teachers and administrative staff. Children will be able to participate in games, activities, snack time and story time. Wednesday, April 13
Spring Training Flower Show
Runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Edson Keith Mansion at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 S. Tamiami Trail. The Founders Garden Club of Sarasota show will feature judged floral, photography and horticultural exhibits with a spring training theme. Visit foundersgcsarasota.org. 

Sarasota County Democratic Party Meeting
Starts at 6:30 p.m. at Waldemere Fire Station, 2070 Waldemere St. All Democrats are welcome to attend the monthly meeting for updates. Attendance is free. Visit sarasotadems.org.

Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17 
Suncoast Boat Show
Runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Marina Jack, 2 Marina Plaza. Hundreds of exhibitors and boat dealers will showcase their finest boats, ranging from fishing boats to cruisers, runabouts, motor yachts and more at the 34th annual boat show. Also on display will be a full range of marine electronics, products and accessories. Attendees can also enjoy two onsite restaurants, free downtown parking and scenic waterfront views. Saturday, April 16 
Adult Easter Egg Hunt
Starts at 5 p.m. at the Sarasota Children’s Garden, 1670 10th Way. The March 19 event was rescheduled due to weather. This Easter egg hunt starts with drinks and appetizers before attendees search for eggs with prizes that include trips and sculptures. WBTT's Young Artist Showcase featuring Ariel Blue
Starts at 7:30 p.m. at Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, 1646 10th Way. Ariel Blue's first Young Artist showcase, "The Power of the Voice," will be an evening of soul, blues and laughter in her cabaret-style showcase, accompanied by a dynamic blues guitarist.
