1 — Riverview sprinter Aliyah Cunningham won both the 100-and 200-meter dashes before anchoring the Rams’ 4x100 relay to a first-place finish at the 6th Annual Marcus Freeman Invitational April 1, at North Port.

2 — Cardinal Mooney catcher Parker Shanahan was named Most Valuable Player of the Taylor Emmons Classic, which ran March 28 through March 31, at ODA.

3 — Freshman attackman MJ McMahon scored six goals and added four assists to lead the Cardinal Mooney boys lacrosse team to a 16-11 victory versus Riverview April 1.

4 — Pitcher Kay Holland went 4-for-4 with three doubles and five RBI to lead the Sarasota Christian softball team to a 15-0 four-inning district shutout versus Everglades City April 1.

5 — Riverview junior golfer Eric Souchak shot 145 to finish second at the American Junior Golf Association 36-hole stroke-play event April 2 and April 3, at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course.
