Next Steps: Adults find balance with ballet

Former and first-time ballet dancers share the floor in an adult ballet class at Soul Studios.

An adult ballet class taught by life-long dancer Alice Fox Stahlschmidt at Soul Studios welcomes senior dancers from all levels of experience. She tailors the class around the needs and injuries of her students.

“It’s an art form for me and I think it’s for everyone,” Stahlschmidt said. “It doesn’t matter when you start. Whether you start at five or start at 80 it doesn’t matter.”
