Montana Taplinger threw an ’80s bowling bash April 23, for her hubby, Irwin,to celebrate his 30th birthday. The location: Sarasota Lanes. The attire: ’80s. The birthday boy donned a mullet wig, jorts and a wolf howling at the moon cutoff T-shirt.

Ashley Markley was “sprinkled” on April 24 at Jack Dusty. Hosted by her sister, Meaghan Gorrell, the mom-to-be was joined by friends and family on the terrace at Jack Dusty for an adorable baby shower for baby boy Markley.

Guests enjoyed spring spritzes and snacks along with jewelry making with June Simmons, fresh floral hair styles by The Met master stylists, a spring trend presentation with Sachin & Babi, Zoe Chicco Jewelry trunk show and spring skin essentials with Trish McEvoy.

More than 200 guests attended Bridge a Life’s inaugural fundraiser on April 21, at Polo Grill and Bar. Bridge a Life is a nonprofit organization that assists orphans and supports foster and adoptive families.
