Cardinal Mooney senior Vinny Conetta will kickoff his final season Aug. 19 during the Cougars Preseason Classic versus DeSoto County.

THURSDAY, Aug. 18

After finishing the 2015 season with a 4-6 record, the Sarasota football team is hoping growth and adjustments during the offseason will pay off in 2016. The Sailors will host Berkeley Prep at in their Preseason Classic at 7 p.m. in preparation for the regular season.

FRIDAY, Aug. 19

The Riverview High football team will get its first glimpse at what the season holds when the Rams travel to Lakewood Ranch for their Preseason Classic. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Booker High football team will see how far it came during the offseason when the Tornadoes play host to Palmetto in their Preseason Classic. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
