“We realized they were kind of talking about three different areas of professional development,” said Mimi Cirbusova, YPG Coordinator.

The theme was broken down into three topics that address the need: personal development; professional development; community development.

More than 150 attendees are anticipated for the summit with speakers tackling topics ranging from building a personal brand to managing personal finances, career transitions and “Am I old enough to be a philanthropist?”  There is also a panel focusing on the opportunities for young professionals with the Bayfront 20:20 project.

“We were very lucky in that we have so many wonderful chamber members who were more than willing to offer their time and wisdom to us,” Cirbusova said.

The keynote speaker is Kristi Bracewell a Wellbeing, Performance and Development Consultant for FCCI Insurance Group. Her segment is titled “Building resiliency for a stronger tomorrow” where she will address how leaders prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of adversity.

“This is a quick, fast get the information get the takeaways rapidly and get back to work by lunch,” Cirbusova said. “The is the professional development that you crave and do it in a way that isn’t a strain on your time and productivity.”
