Sarasota High 5 Moments: 08.25.16

1 — Sophomore quarterback Bryan Gagg threw for nearly 230 yards and four first-half touchdowns to lead the Sarasota football team to a 28-13 victory over Berkeley Prep in its Kickoff Classic Aug. 18. 

2 — Margo Schnapf recorded 11 kills, 11 digs and four aces to power the Riverview High volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-11, 25-13 preseason tournament victory against Northside Christian Aug. 18. 

3 — Jack Koscho returned an interception for a touchdown in the third quarter as the visiting Cardinal Mooney football team came-from-behind to beat DeSoto County 29-15 in preseason action Aug. 19.

4 — Riverview running back Ali Boyce led all rushers with 57 yards and a touchdown to help the Rams top Lakewood Ranch 20-7 in their Kickoff Classic Aug. 19. 

5 — Kayla Walker dished out 21 assists to help lead the Riverview volleyball team to a 3-0 preseason tournament victory against East Bay Aug. 16.
