TUESDAY, Dec. 27 - FRIDAY, Dec. 30

The Lakewood Ranch boys basketball team will participate in the 43rd-annual Kingdom of the Sun Tournament at Vanguard High School in Ocala. The Mustangs will be one of 16 teams competing for the tournament crown, seven of which come from outside the state. The tournament starts at 9:30 a.m., but Lakewood Ranch’s first-round game is against Peachtree Ridge (Ga.) at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

TUESDAY, Dec. 27 - THURSDAY, Dec. 29

Both the Braden River boys and girls basketball teams, plus the Out-of-Door Academy boys team, will participate in the Smoothie King Classic tournament, hosted by Bradenton Christian. The eight-team tournaments start at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

TUESDAY, Dec. 27 - FRIDAY, Dec. 30

Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch hosts the 2016 PSC Girls Holiday Showcase. Girls soccer teams ranging from U9 through U18/19 will compete in the tournament, including the Chargers Soccer Club. The showcase starts at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY, Dec. 28 - THURSDAY, Dec. 29

The Out-of-Door Academy boys soccer team will participate in the Keswick Christian Holiday Classic in St. Petersburg. The Thunder’s first-round game is against Seffner Christian School at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
