At its annual dinner on Friday, Jan. 22, the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce approved nominations of new directors and officers.

Mark Smith will move from chairman-elect to chairman, and Aledia Tush of CB’s Saltwater Outfitters will replace Smith as the chairwoman-elect.

Tush served on the board for approximately 12 years, she said, before term limits were imposed.

“The Siesta Key Chamber is the business voice of Siesta Key – not the north end, not the south end – but the whole key,” Tush said.

Smith replaces outgoing chairwoman Alana Tomasso of Midnight Cove.

New directors include Joye Argo from Studio F Productions, Kathleen Elliott of Signarama, Eric Fleming from the Law Offices of Eric Fleming, Wendall Jacobsen of the Beach Bazaar and Nikki Logan Curran of Mattison’s Forty-one.
