Zoe Rio and the rest of Cristina McCrone's kindergarten class played dress up Feb. 8 to celebrate Braden River Elementary's 100th day of school this school year.
To help teach her students the concept of counting to 100 and visualizing how old and how much 100 is, McCrone asked her students to dress as if they were 100 years old.
With her hair spray painted gray in a bun piled on top of her head and glasses her mother found for her, Rio embraced the assignment.
"I like the number 100," Rio said, laughing. "I like big stuff, like houses and dogs. I also get to wear glasses, and that's really fun."
Other than dress up, students visualized the number 100 by counting out 10 pieces of pretzels, popcorn and candy.
