Bradenton couple stabbed by son

A GreyHawk Landing couple was stabbed in their home early Sunday morning.

Their son, Jonathan Skarr, was arrested on scene for causing their injuries, a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report states.

John Skarr, 66, and Michele Wilson-Skarr, 61, of Daisy Place, were reported in stable condition following the incident, which occurred at 4:40 a.m. Feb. 7.

Jonathan Skarr, 27, has been charged with two counts of great bodily harm, disability and disfigurement.

Following his first court appearance today, bond has been set at a total of $500,000.
