Siesta Key Village Valentine Stroll 
Runs from 5 to 8 p.m. in Siesta Key Village on Ocean Boulevard. Stroll through the Siesta Key Village, which will be adorned with Valentine's Day cheer. Enjoy live music throughout the Village and candy kisses from merchants. Participating merchants will display red and pink balloons outside their businesses. Admission is free. Better Together 2016
Starts at 11 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, 1111 Ritz-Carlton Drive. The Gulf Coast Community Foundation hosts this luncheon featuring entrepreneur Daymond John, who will discuss applying creativity, innovation and boot-strap resourcefulness to make an impact. Donate Your Ex's Stuff 
Takes place during store hours at Goodwill locations. Goodwill invites the broken-hearted to turn their "hate" into "donate" and support Goodwill's programs and services throughout the community by cleaning out any items that remain in their home from a failed relationship. Holocaust Survivor's Story

Light Chasers Quick Draw Painting Contest 
Runs from 10 a.m. to noon at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 S. Tamiami Trail. The public is invited to paint, watch and buy work from the easel at the Farmer’s Market. Master artist Bill Farnsworth will award prizes at noon to top painters. Admission is free. Visit farmhousemarket.org.

Argus Foundation Meet the Minds: Larry Thompson
Starts at 11:30 a.m. at The Francis, 1289 N. Palm Ave. Ringling College of Art and Design President Larry Thompson will speak about the Consortium of Colleges on the Creative Coast, or C4, a joint college and economic development initiative. Siesta Beach Grand Opening

Sarasota Springfest
Runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium, 2700 12th St. The Orioles invite fans to celebrate the start of spring training with a family-friendly event to watch Orioles players practice on the back fields and enjoy interactive activities. Admission is free. A Musical Celebration
Starts at 3:30 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 4631 S. Lockwood Ridge Road. The musical series celebrating Temple Sinai’s 25th anniversary continues with a performance by Sarasota Orchestra principals and flute/harp duo Betsy Hudson Traba and Cherly Losey Feder. WBTT Voices: Personal Reflections of August Wilson
Runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, 1646 Nate Jacobs Way. The 2016 Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Voices program is presented in honor of Black History Month. Jerry Eckert Jazz Trio

Concert for Good
