The Sarasota High baseball team posted its first shutout of the season with a 9-0 victory versus rival Riverview Feb. 11.
Senior Andrew Jones pitched four innings, allowing one hit while striking out five, to earn the win for the Sailors on the mound.
Senior Nick Derr went 3-for-3 with a home run, a triple, three runs scored and two RBI to lead the way at the plate. Senior Nick Long also went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI.
