First Steps Sarasota hosted the 15th annual Caring Hearts luncheon Wednesday at Michael's On East.
This year the luncheon honored 2016 Caring Heart of the Year recipient Marcella Schuyler. The event benefits the First Step of Sarasota Mothers and Infants program. The Mothers and Infants program provides a safe environment and support groups for pregnant women with substance abuse issues to ensure that their babies are born healthy.
