A new breed of flamigo is flocking to Sun-n-Fun Carefree RV Resort.

Residents are waking up to a group of plastic pink flamigos spray painted purple as part of the resort’s annual Relay for Life drive.

Residents can pay $10 to “flock” their neighbor, with the money being donated to the fundraiser, said Susan Shoemaker of Sun-n-Fun. The resort also has a purple toilet residents can have placed in a neighbor’s yard, too.

“(Residents) think it’s hilarious,” Schoemaker said.

Once residents elect to flock a neighbor, the resort’s lifestyle staff place the birds or the toilet on the pranked neighbor’s property after dark.

The fundraising drive runs until Thursday, March 3. The resort will host a reception for cancer survivors and care taker residents the following evening.
