THURSDAY, March 3

The Out-of-Door Academy baseball team looks to pile up more runs when its hosts Northside Christian in a Class 3A-District 5 contest at 7 p.m. The Thunder have scored 65 runs in their first six district games, leading to a 5-1 record. 

FRIDAY, March 4

The Braden River, Lakewood Ranch and Out-of-Door Academy track teams will challenge the area’s top talent when they compete in the Booker Invitational at 3:30 p.m. Seventeen teams will participate. 

FRIDAY, March 4

The Out-of-Door Academy girls and boys lacrosse teams meet rival Cardinal Mooney for the second time this season when the Thunder hosts the Cougars. The girls game will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the boys game at 7 p.m. ODA won both games between the two schools earlier this season. 

TUESDAY, March. 8

The Lakewood Ranch baseball team meets district foe Sarasota at 7 p.m. Led by seniors Justin Fischer and Trevor Losada, the Mustangs edged the Sailors 2-1 in the first game between the two Feb. 26.
