Yawn tosses no-hitter

Braden River pitcher Ali Yawn threw a no-hitter with strikeouts to lead the Pirates to a 17-0 four-inning district victory against Brandon Feb. 26. 

Yawn only needed 50 pitches, 32 of which were strikes, to earn the win on the mound. She also went 2-for-3 at the plate with a RBI and two runs scored. 

Myah Moy went 4-for-4 with a double three RBI and four runs scored. Sarah Crawford went 1-for-4 with a home run, five RBI and two runs scored. Bethaney Keen went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored.  Linda Ross went 3-for-3 with a triple, a RBI and two runs scored.
