2 — Elise Spiller scored 12 points in the Lakewood Ranch High girls basketball team’s 64-21 victory against Venice Jan. 14.

3 — Maddison Krstec scored a pair of goals and added an assist to power the Lakewood Ranch High girls soccer team to a 4-0 victory versus Sarasota in a Class 5A-District 8 semifinal match Jan. 12.

4 — Amad Brayboy finished with 21 points in the Out-of-Door Academy boys basketball team’s 63-41 district victory versus Evangelical Christian Jan. 12.

5 — Deoni Cason and Curtis Cobb combined for 40 points to lead the Braden River High boys basketball team to a 61-52 victory over Palmetto in Class 7A-District 11 action Jan. 12.
