Foster powers Booker to victory

Cellexia Foster recorded a double-double to lead the Booker High girls basketball team to a 54-47 victory versus Riverview in the MLK Classic Jan. 18. 

Foster finished with 24 points, 12 rebounds and five steals. Arie Bass added 11 points and nine rebounds. 

Lindsay Edwards scored 17 points and added seven rebounds and three steals to power the Lady Rams. Shannon Abbe contributed 11 points. 

With the win, Booker improves to 17-5. The Lady Tornadoes will return to action Jan. 21, at Venice.
