0 block of Paradise Plaza — 7:11 p.m.
Property damage: The owner of a shipping store said he had been involved in an ongoing dispute with a customer over service provided. The customer has constantly bothered employees since the initial dispute, and asked for the customer to stay away from the store. An officer contacted the customer, who admitted to being excessive with his complaining and stated there would be no further problems.

DENY, DENY, DENY
2:51 p.m. — 3500 block of Fruitville Road
Trespass: A man attempted to take two cans of beer from a convenience store, the manager reported. The manager said he confronted the man, who caused a scene but eventually gave back the beer. The manager asked the man to leave the store, but he refused to do so and said he didn’t do anything wrong. The manager asked an officer to escort him from the property. The officer told the man that he was not welcome on the property and would be subject to arrest if he returned. The man eventually left the area after continuing to state he did nothing wrong.

SILENT TREATMENT
6:38 p.m. — 1200 block of Boulevard of the Arts
Trespass: An employee at a hotel reported that a man had been loitering around the hotel for two days. When employees asked him to leave multiple times, the man just ignored them. Officers issued a trespass warning, and he left the area without further incident.

CH-CH-CHANGE
8:37 p.m. — 2500 block of South Tamiami Trail
Trespass: A manager at a hotel reported that a man refused to leave the property. The man thought he was given the wrong change, and he became argumentative and refused to leave. The manager said the correct change was given, provided a receipt and asked officers to issue a trespass warning to the man. Officers escorted the man out of the bar, and he left the area without further incident.
