Wave Volleyball Alliance will hold a six-week youth volleyball winter league, beginning Jan. 24.
The league, which will run through Feb. 28, is designed to introduce girls, ages 8-12, the sport of volleyball. Practices will be held Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at The Alliance Center, 1500 Independence Blvd., Sarasota. Cost is $125 per player.
