Sarasota Christian girls edge past Bradenton Christian in semifinal

The Sarasota Christian girls basketball team will play for the district title Jan. 29.

The Sarasota Christian girls basketball team earned a berth in the regional tournament with a 57-54 victory versus Bradenton Christian in the Class 2A-District 9 semifinals Jan. 26. 

McKenzie Lantz led the Lady Blazers with 17 points. Nicole Miller and Amber Schrag each added 12 points. 

Sarasota Christian will host Keswick Christian for the district title at 7 p.m. Jan. 29.
