FRIDAY, July 8-SUNDAY, July 10

The Lakewood Ranch Little League 10-and 11-year-old All-Star team will return to action in the Section IV Tournament, at Land O’Lakes Little League, 3032 Collier Parkway, Land O’Lakes. Lakewood Ranch will open tournament play at 6 p.m. on July 8. 

SATURDAY, July 9-SUNDAY, July 10 

An array of talent ranging from players 12-and-under up through the professional ranks, including 2015 Lakewood Ranch High graduate Nicole Grant, now at Florida Atlantic University, will be on display when the Dig the Beach Volleyball Series returns to Siesta Key Beach. Tournament play begins at 8 a.m. July 9 and 8:45 a.m. July 10. 

MONDAY, July 11-FRIDAY, July 15

Marcus Liberty, the Out-of-Door Academy basketball coach and former NBA player, hosts the first week of his summer basketball camp for students entering grades 3-8, at the Uihlein Campus at Lakewood Ranch, 5950 Deer Drive. The camp, which will focus on shooting technique, positioning, rebounding and more, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

MONDAY, July 11-SUNDAY, July 17 

Junior competitors from the United States, Canada and Mexico will come together during the CamAmMex Rowing Regatta at Nathan Benderson Park. Racing and other activities associated with the event will begin at 8 a.m. daily.
