SATURDAY, July 9-SUNDAY, July 10 

An array of talent ranging from players 12-and-under up through the professional ranks will be on display when the Dig the Beach Volleyball Series returns to Siesta Key Beach. Tournament play begins at 8 a.m. July 9 and 8:45 a.m. July 10. 

MONDAY, July 11-FRIDAY, July 15

The Out-of-Door Academy basketball coach and former NBA player Marcus Liberty will host the first week of his summer basketball camp for students entering grades 3-8, at the Uihlein Campus at Lakewood Ranch, 5950 Deer Drive. The camp, which will focus on shooting technique, positioning, rebounding and more, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

MONDAY, July 11-SUNDAY, July 17 

Junior competitors from the United States, Canada and Mexico will come together during the CamAmMex Rowing Regatta, at Nathan Benderson Park. Racing and other activities associated with the event will begin at 8 a.m. daily. 

TUESDAY, July 12-SUNDAY, July 17

Some of the top baseball teams from across the country will battle it out for the title of national champion during the AAU National Championships, at the Buck O’Neil Baseball Complex, 6700 Clark Road. Teams ranging from 14U to 18/19U will be action throughout the week during one of the nation’s premier tournaments.
