The firm behind the 11-unit Infinity luxury condominium on Longboat Key is pitching plans for long-vacant land on Siesta Key.

Suwanee, Ga.-based-Crossgate Partners is currently working through Sarasota County’s permitting system to build a four-story, six-unit condominium building, called Oceane, on the 4700 block of Ocean Boulevard. The roughly one-acre parcel overlooks Big Pass and the Gulf of Mexico, and was last listed for $5.8 million by Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

The initial plans for Oceane, which would be located north of Siesta Key Village, call for eight private garages, a pool and six cabanas. DSDG Architects, the local firm that also designed Infinity and One88 in Golden Gate Point, is listed as the applicant in permitting documents.

Jefferson Development Group, a firm located in Louisville, Ken., bought the property for $2.7 million in 2013. The company mocked up a rendering of the future condominium building, then dubbed Oceana Condominiums, but the firm’s plans were never completed.

Local developer Harry Rosenblum previously sought to buy the property with plans for a nine-unit condominium.
