Bird Key home sells for $4,925,000

The following residential real estate transactions took place between July 4 and July 8.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Yi-Lan Yang, of Los Angeles, sold her home at 364 W. Royal Flamingo Drive to John and Margaret Russell, of E. Lansing, Mich., for $4,925,000. Built in 2007, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,289 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.7 million in 2012.

Country Club Shores

Silvana Nandin and Antonia Giliberti, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 549 Cutter Lane to Kristian Gibson and Brenda Olds, of Brookline, Mass., for $1.15 million. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,924 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $730,000 in 2004.

Longboat Key Towers

Julianne Vardan, of Osprey, sold the Unit S-403 condominium at 601 Longboat Club Road to Kevin and Danielle Mauger, of N. Wales, Pa., for $865,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,458 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $735,000 in 2013.

Islands West

Rex Roedger and John Stricklin, of San Diego, sold their Unit 8-E condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Philip and Nanette Alsop, of Longboat Key, for $665,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,491 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2004.

Winding Oaks

Mohamed Zaki, of Longboat Key, sold his Unit 28 condominium at 3455 Winding Oaks Drive to Antonia Giliberti and Silvana Nandin, of Longboat Key, for $550,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,112 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $480,000 in 2012.

Longbeach Village

Carolyn Byers, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 22 condominium at 7001 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Longboat Sunshine II LLC for $505,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $818,000 in 2006.

Seaplace II

Kurt and Joanne Prinz sold their Unit M1-304-J condominium at 2045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Rand Stack and Constance Pollak Stack, of Franklin Lakes, N.J., for $482,500. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,532 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2012.

The Water Club at Longboat Key

Ronald and Bruce Corben, of Merrick, N.Y., sold their Unit 107 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ronald E. and Judith Corben, of Merrick, N.Y., for $337,500. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,278 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $437,700 in 1996.

LIDO KEY

Audrie Sonzogni, of Long Valley, N.J., sold her home at 295 Morningside Drive to Jeffrey and Karen Heath, of Sarasota, for $835,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,776 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $735,000 in 2009.

Lido Beach Club

Kenneth and Mary Rice, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1206 condominium at 1212 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Harvey Shanbaum and Rhonda Penn, of Westborough, Mass., for $669,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2007.

Lido Regency

Amanda Nevin, of Palmetto, sold her Unit 12-F condominium at 1700 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Joseph and Sylvina Russo, of Lakewood Ranch, for $318,000. Built in 1968, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 981 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2005.
