Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School will welcome new principal Timothy Gallic for the 2016-17 academic year.

The Diocese of Venice in Florida made the announcement July 15 that Gallic would be filling the position of retiring principal Steve Christie

“I am honored to join the Diocese of Venice and the school community of Cardinal Mooney High School, which has experienced so many successes,” Gallic said in a release. “God has great plans for the school and I am thrilled to be part of its very bright future.”

From 2009 to 2016, Gallic served as Principal of Holy Family Catholic High School in Broomfield, Colorado. The school has an enrollment of 600 students and is ranked among the top 50 Catholic schools in the country.

Gallic’s background includes a Master of Arts in School Administration from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers University.
