1 — Former Sarasota standout Jade Rhodes helped lead Auburn University to the Division I College Softball World Series Finals versus Oklahoma June 6-8. 

2 — Sarasota alum Dylan Busby went 3-for-6 with three RBI and three runs scored to help power Florida State to an 18-6 victory versus South Alabama to win the Tallahassee Regional June 5 and earn a berth in the Super Regionals. 

3 — Booker wide receiver Talik Keaton, a rising junior, recently received a pair of scholarship offers from the University of South Florida and Tulane. 

4 — Cardinal Mooney boys basketball coach and assistant athletic director Stefan Gates was recently named the Cougars’ new assistant principal. 

5 — Sarasota Christian finished second in the Florida High School Athletic Association’s Floyd E. Lay Sunshine Cup All-Sports Awards.
