Braden River senior Tyler Dyson pitched a complete game shutout to propel the Pirates to a 1-0 district victory versus Lennard March 8.
Dyson allowed one hit while striking out nine.
Brian Dillingham drove in the game’s only run with a two-out double. Gavin Root went 2-for-2.
With the win, Braden River improves to 7-2 overall and 6-1 in the district.
