Sarasota Christian posts double-digit win

The Sarasota Christian softball team improved to 8-1 overall.

The Sarasota Christian softball team improved to 2-0 in district play with a 13-3 victory against Seacrest March 10. 

McKenzie Lantz went 3-for-5 with two triples and three RBI to lead the way for the Blazers, who racked up 16 hits. Audra King went 4-for-4 with two RBI. McKenzie Clark and Cheyenne Miller both went 2-for-2. 

Miller pitched two innings, striking out six, before turning the ball over to Kay Holland, who pitched the final four innings. Holland allowed one hit and seven walks while striking out two.
Sarasota Christian (8-1) returns to action at 4 p.m. today, at St. Stephen’s.
