Lakewood Ranch sophomore Kailey Christian tossed a complete game shutout to lead the Mustangs to a 2-0 victory over Cooper City March 11.

1 — Cumberland University pitcher Stephen Fischer, a 2010 graduate of Braden River High, posted his sixth victory and fifth complete game of the season during Cumberland’s 11-1 victory over Shawnee State March 12.

2 — Lakewood Ranch sophomore pitcher Kailey Christian tossed a complete game shutout with 12 strikeouts to lead the Mustangs to a 2-0 victory against Cooper City during the Gulliver Tournament March 11, in Miami.

3 — Jason Fineberg scored five goals to lead The Out-of-Door Academy boys lacrosse team to a 16-4 victory over St. Stephen’s March 9.

4 — Braden River leadoff hitter Myah Moy went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored in the Pirates' 10-5 victory over Riverview March 9.

5 — Braden River senior pitcher Tyler Dyson threw a one-hitter as the Pirates edged Lennard 1-0 in district action March 8.
