St. Patrick’s Jazz Concert/Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner — Takes place at Longboat Island Chapel, 6200 Gulf of Mexico Drive. The jazz concert will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and feature the sounds of Al Hixon, Jim Wellen, Mark Multrup, John Lamb, James Suggs, Herb Bruce and Michelle Amato. Rudolf Nureyev with Robert de Warren — Takes place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Longboat Key Education Center, 5370 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Suite 212. In this multi-media presentation, Robert de Warren, international ballet director, choreographer and designer, recalls a 25-year collaboration and friendship with Rudolf Nureyev, one of the most celebrated dancers of ballet and modern dance of the 20th century.
