Festivities were cut short due to thunderstorms for the Arlington Park Spring Splash Saturday morning.
The Arlington Park Spring Splash parted with tradition for an Easter egg hunt in the instructional pool instead of on the lawn. Children had to swim and dive for more than 2,000 colorful eggs. Instead of Easter baskets, participants used net bags to collect their eggs and traded them in for goodie bags.
The Easter bunny made an appearance for photos and to learn a few dance moves.
