Criminal mischief: A couple were driving through the store parking lot and seemed to make another female driver upset. The couple parked and the husband went inside while the wife stayed in the vehicle. The other female driver approached the wife in the car and was pleasant, asking her what was happening in the parking lot as there was a fire truck there. The wife said she didn’t know and the other woman walked off. As she walked behind the vehicle the wife heard a scratching noise. She got out and saw a five-inch scratch, so she called her husband about what happened. They confronted the other woman but she got into her car and left. The case was documented by the Sheriff’s Office.

Suspicious driving: A deputy was conducting radar traffic enforcement when a BMW driver sped at 78 mph through his radar. The deputy clearly saw a man with a hat driving the car. When he conducted a traffic stop, the driver was a woman, with no hat, and the man was sitting in the passengers seat. The deputy asked the man for his license, and he said he didn’t have one which was why the woman was driving. The woman confessed that she had been sleeping and switched to the driver’s seat when the man told her to, because he had a suspended license. The deputy arrested the man. He had three prior convictions for driving without a license.
