Pierre condominium sells for $1.4 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 7 and March 11.

A condominium in The Pierre tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Edith Weinberger, Jane Lapple and Susan Tofias, trustees, sold the Unit 405 condominium at 455 Longboat Club Road to William and Karen Cardman and Thomas Wilson, of Lakeland, for $1.4 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,880 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $740,000 in 1992.

Promenade
Arthur Levenson, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 607 condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Mary Jane Wilhelm, of Wenham, Mass., for $865,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,827 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $415,000 in 1996.

Windward Bay
Den and Debi Thayer, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 206 condominium at 4900 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Leonard and Margaret Giacalone, of Longboat Key, for $445,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,376 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000.

Seaplace
William and Patricia McLain, of Kennesaw, Ga., sold their Unit G6-404-G condominium at 1955 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peter and Ronda Maniaci, of Woods, Mich., for $345,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,068 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $418,500 in 2007.

Duane Wollant, of Sewickley, Pa., sold his Unit G2-214-E condominium at 2055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Mallard Point Partners LLC for $265,000. Built in 1974, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 1,094 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2013.

Longbeach Village
Robert and Kathy Atkins, of Winter Haven, sold their home at 740 Fox St. to Patrick Canavan and Nancy Greenhouse, of Newton, Mass., for $315,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths and 918 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $69,000 in 1986.

Longboat Harbour
Marion McLaren, of Honolulu, Hawaii, sold the Unit 204 condominium at 4380 Exeter Drive to George and Stanton Cargill, of Longboat Key, for $248,500. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 928 square feet of living area.

BIRD KEY
Lee and Jan Peakes sold their home at 342 Bird Key Drive to UCG Real Estate Holdings LLC for $1.32 million. Built in 2014, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,305 square feet of living area.

Leslie Williams, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 408 Wood Duck Drive to Erica and Dermot Briody, of Berks, United Kingdom, for $750,000. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,846 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $214,900 in 1981.

Carol Robischon, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 33 condominium at 765 John Ringling Blvd. to Martin and Steven Kirby, of Daytona Beach, for $240,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 816 square feet of living area.
