Sarasota High 5 Moments: 03.24.16

1 — Micah Davis hit a grand slam and had five RBI and three runs scored to power the Booker baseball team to a 12-0 district victory versus Southeast March 17. He also pitched a complete game. 

2 — Hunter Clark drove in the game-winning run to propel the Sarasota Christian baseball team to a 7-6 come-from-behind victory versus St. James Christian (Maryland) March 17. 

3 — Cardinal Mooney’s Caroline Kenefick and Veronica McCurdy combined for nine goals to lead the girls lacrosse team to a 17-9 victory over Tampa Catholic March 16. 

4 — Riverivew senior guard D.J. Bryant assisted on the game-winning basket with two seconds remaining to lead the South to a 107-106 victory against the North in the annual Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Game March 19, at Indian River Community College. 

5 —Taylor Garris collected four of Cardinal Mooney’s 17 hits as the Cougars baseball team rolled past North Port 14-5 March 17.
