“There was nothing from here until the Colony when I first came here. So much has changed.” — Joyce Koppel, a Sands Point resident since 1968
Sands Point celebrated its golden, or 50th, anniversary March 29.
Nearly 50 residents attended the party, which included wine, appetizers and a filet mignon dinner.
“It’s a very special occasion because the condo is now 50 years old, and it’s one of the oldest, if not the oldest, on the Key,” event chairman George Muller said.
