1. FRIDAY, May 20 

The Out-of-Door Academy football team hosts Bishop McLaughlin at 7 p.m., in its spring game. Out-of-Door Academy is headed for the Sunshine State Athletic Conference this coming season. 

2. FRIDAY, May 20-SUNDAY, May 22

Nearly 50 youth travel baseball teams take the diamond for the Travel Ball Suncoast Champions Cup. Pool play begins at 9 a.m. May 20, at fields across Bradenton, including fields at Lakewood Ranch Park and Braden River Park. 

3. SATURDAY, May 21

Who says running is boring? The Insane Inflatable 5K, featuring the largest and most extreme inflatable obstacles, takes off at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch at 8:30 a.m. 

4. SATURDAY, May 21 

Another fun-filled day of racing will be on tap when Nathan Benderson Park hosts the second annual Sarasota Stand-Up Paddleboard and Run 5K. The event, which benefits Operation Second Chance, will begin at 8 a.m.
