After several weeks of surviving Florida State Assessments, students at Tara Elementary School got relief Friday.
The PTO organized a field day for kids to spend some time outside, play games and have fun. Each grade level got to spend time crawling through tunnels, bean bag tossing or racing their teachers. Parents helped with supervising the activities.
“They earned this for weeks of testing,” said Coach Amy Teta. “That was a long stretch for us this year.”
