1 — Lakewood Ranch golfer Sophia Warren finished second in the Women’s 14-19 division of the Misty Creek Junior Classic May 14-15.

2 — Braden River running back DeShaun Fenwick rushed for 89 yards and three touchdowns in the first half of the Pirates' 37-6 spring game victory over St. Petersburg Lakewood May 19.

3 — Braden River Middle School sixth-grader Conner Morrell raced his USCS 600 winged mini sprint to a fourth-place finish, his best of the season, at Needmore Speedway, in Norman Park, Ga., May 13-14.

4 — Bill Mullen used his 3-wood to record a hole-in-one May 13 on the 184-yard No. 13 hole of Rosedale Golf & Country Club.

5 — Braden River junior Chance Sharbono was awarded one of the 2016 Florida All-Class Wrestling Scholarships.
