The Beaches Residences condo sells for $2.85 million

A condominium in The Beach Residences tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Daniel McGuire, of Stoneybrook, N.Y., sold the Unit 401 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Airmann LLC for $2.85 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 4,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.65 million in 2010.

Bird Key

Robert and Janice Donahue, of Northborough, Mass., sold their home at 496 Partridge Circle to David and Kathryn Fleeman, of Sarasota, for $2.03 million. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,572 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.7 million in 2008.

Orchid Beach Club

Orchid beach Ltd. Partnership sold the Unit A601 condominium at 2050 Benjamin Franklin Drive to David Rayner and Wendy O’Neill, of Sarasota, for $1.9 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,242 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,306,100 in 2005.

Islands West

J. Vaughan Curtis, of Bradenton, sold his Unit 10-E condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Cindy McAllister, of Decatur, Ga., for $880,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,491 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $567,500 in 2003.

Seaplace

Thomas Wagner and Carmen Schlimm Wagner, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit G4-205-G condominium at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Arlene Schwartz, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $585,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,068 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $625,000 in 2006.

Richard Kelertas and Julia Belzil, of Quebec, Canada, sold their Unit G1-109B condominium at 2089 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Barbara Goodstein and Debra Ritter, of Bayside, N.Y., for $575,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,492 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $479,900 in 2014.

Longboat Key Towers

Miriam Daniel, of Chevy Chase, Md., sold her Unit 1101-S condominium at 601 Longboat Club Road to Gerard Daniel, trustee, of Sarasota, for $420,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,420 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2008.

Whitney Beach II

A. Edward and Phyllis Lord, of Bradenton, sold their Unit 165 condominium at 6750 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peter and Susan Tasker, of Surrey, United Kingdom, for $340,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,367 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2002.
