Judith Litvin

Judith Litvin, 89, of Longboat Key and formerly Newton Mass., died Nov. 24.

She is survived by her brother, Herbert Hurwitz; son, Andrew Litvin; daughter, Chaya; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Henry Retek Sr.

Henry Retek, 78, of McHenry, Ill., died Nov. 21. 

He was born Oct. 12, 1938, in Chicago, to the late Frank and Amelia Retek.

He was a plumber who enjoyed fishing, boating, tennis, pool and spending time at his second and third homes in Crystal Falls, Mich., and Longboat Key.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Roy Feltson Jr. He is survived by three children, Mike Retek Jr., Joe Retek Sr., and Toni Feltson; their spouses; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; companion, Diana Bauman; former spouse, Marisa Retek; and former spouse and mother of his children, Sally Retek.

Memorial donations can be made in Henry’s name to any hospice.
