Criminal mischief: The manager of a restaurant called the Sheriff's Office to report a person had vandalized the ladies room by painting misspelled bad words and phrases on the wall. A deputy collected a spray paint can that was left at the scene.

PRACTICE BEING LOCKED UP
8200 block of Cooper Creek Boulevard. Bradenton
Tresspass: Sheriff Office deputies received a call of an alarm going off at a business. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found a man sitting inside the building, drinking a Red Bull and smoking a cigarette. He was locked inside the building after it had closed for the night. A deputy recognized the man for being trespassed before at the same building after he hid inside the building until everyone left and then was locked inside for the night. On this occasion, the man had gone through a file cabinet and stole cigarettes. The incident was recorded by video surveillance.

THIEF MAY BE A CLOWN
7000 block of 42nd Court E., Sarasota
Petit theft: A man called the Sheriff's Office to report that sometime during the night, an unknown person had stolen his life-sized clown decoration he had on his front lawn by the mailbox. The man had other decorations on the property and requested a patrol.

PERHAPS SCOTTY BEAMED HER UP
4600 block of Sabal Key Drive, Bradenton
Information only: A woman came into the Sheriff's Office to report she had received a citation from the Prince George Police Department stating a vehicle with her license plate committed a violation on Oct. 6 in Prince George, Md. The woman said her vehicle was with her in Bradenton at that time. She produced a receipt from a department store as proof.

TAKE THAT TO THE BANK
2100 block of 67th Street Court East, Bradenton
Information only: A man called the Sheriff's Office to report a ditch line in front of his home that wasn't being maintained by the county. When deputies arrived, the man said he was mowing along the ditch when the ground along the bank gave way and his mower slide into the ditch, that was full of water. The man had minor cuts but needed no medical attention. He wanted it documented the ditch was not being maintained. Deputies took photos of the ditch and issued the man a case number.

GIVE HIM THE BOOT
5900 block of State Road 64, Bradenton
Trespass Warning: Sheriff Office deputies received a call about a man being absurd in the waiting room of a business. The man had his shirt open and had removed his shoes. Employees said the man was cleaning his feet and then became agitated when told he needed to leave. The man was trespassed from the business and left.
