1 — Riverview alum Richie James caught eight passes for 73 yards and a touchdown during Middle Tennessee State University’s 55-0 victory versus Alabama A&M Sept. 3. 

2 —  Sarasota quarterback Bryan Gagg threw three touchdowns and rushed for another to lead the Sailors to a 49-6 victory versus rival Booker Sept. 2. 

3 — Cassie Bontrager recorded eight kills and three aces during the Sarasota Christian volleyball team’s 25-6, 25-9, 25-6 victory against Port Charlotte Community Christian School Aug. 29. 

4 — Sarasota senior Ivan Plancarte won the Boys Elite division of the Bradenton Runners Club XC Invitational Sept. 3, crossing the finish line in 17 minutes, 21.70 seconds. 

5 —Amber Schrag tallied 21 digs to help power the Sarasota Christian volleyball team to a 3-1 victory versus St. Stephen’s Aug. 30.
