FRIDAY, Sept. 9

The Riverview girls golf team will host its annual Riverview Invitational, at Heritage Oaks. Players will tee off at 1 p.m.

FRIDAY, Sept. 9

After an unexpected week off, the Riverview High football team returns home to face Lakewood Ranch. The two teams met in the Preseason Kickoff Classic with the Rams walking away with a 20-7 victory in a game in which the varsity squads only played the first half. Kickoff for the non-district contest is set for 7:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, Sept. 10

The Sarasota and Riverview High boys and girls swim teams will dive into action during the Riverview Invitational, at the Selby Aquatic Center. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 14

The Riverview volleyball team will look to improve its record when the Rams host Braden River at 7 p.m. The match also will serve as Teacher Appreciation Night.
