Baseball

Lakewood Ranch defeated Tampa Catholic 7-1. Pablo Garabitos had three hits for the Mustangs. 

Softball

The Out-of-Door Academy lost 21-7 to St. Stephen's.

The Out-of-Door Academy boys team lost to Shorecrest 5-2. Individual results:

The Braden River boys team beat Manatee 6-1. 

Lacrosse

The Out-of-Door Academy girls team beat Riverview 13-11 to advance to the District 17 final. They will play St. Stephen's at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Riverview's Ram Bowl.

Golf

Bob Archdale and Ron Hurley (-11) won Palm Aire Country Club's Men's Golf Association best ball event.

The foursome of Joseph Ciampa, Nick Davella, Tom Gentile and Rick Troiano (-4.81) won Palm Aire's Nine Hole Men's Golf Association scramble event.

Chuck Hofius and Zach Golembiewski (60) won Palm Aire's West Florida Tour Pro-Member best ball event. 

Martin Graaf, Dave Wilson, Kay Williams and Sondra Ettlinger (117) won University Park Country Club's "Dudes and Divas" best ball event.
