The Riverview girls team lost 13-11 to The Out-of-Door Academy in the District 17 semifinals. 

The Cardinal Mooney girls team lost 17-5 to St. Stephen's in the District 17 semifinals. 

Basketball

Riverview senior and former North Carolina-Wilmington verbal commit Brion Whitley announced via Twitter that he is re-opening his recruitment. Kevin Keatts, the UNC-W coach when Whitley committed, recently left to take the head coaching position at NC State. UNC-W hired former North Carolina assistant C.B. McGrath to replace Keatts.
