Softball

Lakewood Ranch won both games of an April 15 doubleheader, winning 14-2 over DeSoto County and 6-1 over Barron Collier. Logan Newton and Madi LoCastro both had three RBI against DeSoto County, and Avery Goelz had three RBI against Barron Collier. 

Golf

Dan Perka won Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club's 2017 Men's Individual Match Play - Blue Tee Division (3 and 2). Dawn Burcham won the Ladies Match Play (19 holes), Peter Ward and Jim Pontius won the Men's Two-Person Match Play (2 up) and Brenda Deona and Merci Madar won the Women's Two-Person Match Play (1 up).
