Home sales surge in spring

Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder Neal Communities started the spring season with 96 new home sales in March, and 306 total sales for the first quarter of 2017.

Data released by the company today stated 44 of the 96 home sales were for move-in ready inventory homes. 

Neal Communities President Michael Story attributed the success to the company’s ability to respond to market demand through inventory homes, as well as those built by customers.

Sales in March were primarily in communities farther south, including 16 in  Grand Palm in Venice, seven in Boca Royal Golf and Country Club in Englewood and eight pre-sales in The Estuary in west Bradenton.
