It's that time of the year again.
Season is winding down. The snowbirds are leaving and the event calendars are beginning to thin.
As Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center President and CEO Jessica Hays looks back at the past season, she can't help but be grateful.
"We set new records for fundraising ... the organization is growing as a result of that support," Hays said.
The SPARCC Auxiliary gathered April 19 at Michaels on the Bay to continue their support. The fundraising arm of the organization presented Hays with a check for $178,928.60.
Yet, even as one season comes to an end, the next season looms. For SPARCC, that means a season of growth.
"I'm most excited to expand and improve our services," Hays said.
